I recently found out that my trail-drive novel, The Too-Late Trail, (A Ralph Compton Western), was chosen as a 2022 Spur Award Finalist by Western Writers of America in the Best Western Mass Market Paperback Novel category. I’m pleased, to be sure, and even more so to know that my fellow finalist is my good friend, writer Larry D. Sweazy.
