THIS JUST IN . . .

My story, “Half a Pig,” in the anthology, A Fistful of Legends, published by Express Westerns, has been selected as a finalist in the Western Writers of America’s 2010 Spur Awards! My good friend John D. Nesbitt won the category, but just to be considered is a real honor for me.

“Since 1953, Western Writers of America has promoted and honored the best in Western literature with the annual Spur Awards, selected by panels of judges. I’m pleased, to say the least, not only because it’s a great honor for me, but also for all of the fine writers in the anthology in which my story appears: A Fistful of Legends.
