Dilly

Western Writers of America recently announced its selections for the 2021 Spur Awards. I am pleased to say that Dilly was chosen as this year’s Spur Award winner in the Best Juvenile Fiction category.

I congratulate all my fellow winners and finalists and wish everyone in WWA and beyond continued success with their respective efforts.

Dilly Earns a Fine Review

Here’s a tasty excerpt:

Peaches Brings Home the Bronze!

“Peaches,” my short story in the Five Star anthology, The Spoil’t Quilt, was recently chosen as a Finalist in the 2020 Will Rogers Medallion Awards, Short Story category. I received a handsome inscribed bronze medal and I couldn’t be more pleased. I consider “Peaches” as one of my best short fiction efforts to date. I’m pleased others felt the same way.
